Biography

Lisa Faye began her professional singing career back in 1997 as the lead singer of several bands on the Northern Club Circuit and teamed up with fellow Yorkshire lass Jane McDonald on an American No. 1 dance record, before following her dreams to train in London at The BRIT School, ALRA and The Royal Academy of Music.

Cruise ship contracts followed and on returning from the high seas Lisa Faye set up her company 5678 Music Entertainment Ltd to produce and perform first class cabaret shows around the country for a variety of clients and venues.

In 2005 she performed her ‘Dinner With A Diva’ cabaret show at Edinburgh Festival Fringe to sell out audiences, a show she still performs today. She returned to Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010 with her new show, ‘Streisand – The Concert’, receiving 5* review and sell out shows.

‘Streisand – The Concert’ transferred to London’s West End in 2011 under the new title, ‘Streisand – The Main Event’, followed by a UK Tour, Camden and Brighton Fringe shows.

Lisa Faye’s singing has led her to work with Gary Brooker, Mike Batt, Jane McDonald, The Barron Knights, The Commitments, Jim Davidson, Charlotte Church, Tony Hadley, West End International,Capital Voices & Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.

Clients include Fred Olsen Cruises, Airtours Cruises, BBC, Virgin, Mayflower Theatre, Nestle, Pfizer, Music Factory, Lions Club International, Cannonball Run Europe, Thomson Cruises, British Gas, Rotary International,

As a songwriter Lisa Faye writes for herself and her choir The 5678 Choir. Her original writing  success has had songs produced and promoted by the BPI at Popkomm ‘05.

When not performing Lisa Faye manages a very successful and rewarding teaching business sharing her knowledge of voice and piano with budding ‘stars of tomorrow’, specialising in musical theatre. She is also musical director and producer of Act Too, a pantomime company raising funds for local charities, which to date has raised over £15,000.
